American Sign Language based classes for parents in the North Texas area that want to communicate with their infant or toddler.
Parents will learn more than 300 ASL signs for basic needs and early learning concepts, as well as ways to introduce and use the signs with their infant or toddler. Classes run in an 8 week session with each lesson building on the previous week's signs. Each participant will receive a folder including pictures of each sign, resources, and valuable tips about signing with your baby. $80 or $120/couple
Saturday Workshops
Not enough time to take a class? Join me for a Saturday workshop, or send your relatives so they can learn some signs. In this two hour workshop you’ll learn the how, when, and why of using American Sign Language with babies. You’ll learn all about the benefits of signing, how to get started, how to recognize when your baby is signing back to you plus more than 60 signs to get you started. All materials included in price of class. $40 or $60/couple.
Classes and workshops are geared towards adults, though babies may be allowed if necessary, please contact the instructor.
The location of the Sign for Baby classes is currently being changed. I will continue to offer classes in the Richardson and McKinney areas.
